For small fees, the center offers classes in Japanese Bunka, quilting, memory tricks, Italian, computer skills and many more. And there are day trips to the Central City Opera House, Rockies games, Air Force Academy tours and other places around the Front Range.

Other programs in the city include volunteer opportunities at the Division of Wildlife, the Colorado Historical Society and the Talking Library. Colorado seniors over 64 can buy ($35) the Aspen Leaf Pass, which gives you unlimited access to all Colorado State Parks. Active Minds for Life in Denver provides on-going, mostly free, classes on topics such as "The History of Denver" and "The National Parks."
